Enzo VI
Enzo was the first Canine Companions pup on campus. He was raised by co-founder of the club, Nick Morgan. After a change in career, Enzo has returned to Nick to live out his best life as a pet!
Niles VII
Niles was the club's first yellow lab and was raised by Lexi Jajack-Valverde. He is now working as a successor service dog for his handler. By helping retrieve his handler's phone and opening doors, Niles and his partner make the best team!
Baxter V
Baxter is a large black lab who was co-raised by Maddie Barrett and Anderson Reed. He graduated as a service dog with a facilitator in May 2024. Baxter now assists his handler by retrieving dropped items, opening doors, and guiding his partner in a wheelchair!
Cricket IV
Cricket is a petite lab/golden mix and was the club's first female pup, raised by Julia Ostrowski. After a change in career, Cricket was adopted back by her raiser on Valentine’s Day and is enjoying the pet life!
Cervantes
Cervantes is a black lab who was raised by Juliana Gonzales. He graduated as a hearing dog in November 2024 and now supports his handler by alerting her to noises such as fire alarms, police sirens, timers, and more.
Noor
Noor is a large black lab who started at the Duke Puppy Kindergarten training program. He was later raised by Isabelle Sojack and graduated in February 2025 as a service dog. Noor is now with his perfect match, assisting his handler by opening doors, retrieving dropped items, and helping with household activities.
Harris V
Harris is the club's second golden lab and was raised by Bianca Bacany. He matriculated in November 2024 and discovered that he was better suited for a career change to therapy dog. Harris now volunteers in hospitals with his handler, Bianca, as a certified therapy dog, providing support and comfort to others.
Ansel IV
Ansel is a lab golden mix and was raised by Katie Graziano. He matriculated in February 2025 and is now enjoying the pet life after a change in career. Ansel's favorite things to do are going on hikes and playing with his friends.
Irwin VI
Irwin is a black lab who was raised by Maya Lesack. He is currently in professional training in Florida. His favorite phrase is "Good morning" and he loves his pink unicorn stuffed animal.
Vinny IV
Vinny is a yellow lab being raised by Allie McCafferty. He is currently in professional training in Florida. He loves to take out every toy from his toy bin and make a pile to sit in.
Ingot III
Ingot is a yellow lab being raised by Matt Truitt. He is currently in professional training in Florida. He loves to play with loud toys, and his all-time favorite game is fetch.
Jett III
Jett is black lab being raised by Hannah Hanson. He is currently in professional training in Florida. He gets so excited when he wakes up that he has to bring a toy with him for his morning adventures.
